Is Rome always this chaotic, or did I just catch it on a bad week?
Currently sitting in a cafe near the Trevi Fountain and honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed. The crowds are absolutely insane, scooters are buzzing past inches from my face, and I've already had two aggressive street vendors try to force bracelets onto my wrist. Don't get me wrong, the history is breathtaking, but does it ever calm down? Are there any quieter, more local neighborhoods I can escape to for dinner tonight to catch my breath?
