Is Premium Economy actually worth it for an 11-hour flight? Or am I being scammed?

Looking at flights from LAX to Tokyo for October. Economy is $900, but Premium Eco is $1,650. The legroom looks slightly better, but is the actual experience worth nearly double the price? Has anyone flown it recently? Tell me if I should save my cash for sushi or if my back will thank me.
