The easiest way to avoid wasting your Bali trip in traffic is to stop planning far-apart places on the same day.

Do not do Ubud, Canggu, and Uluwatu in one plan unless you really enjoy sitting in a car. Bali distances look small on the map, but the roads can be slow.

Pick one main area for the day and stay around it. If you are in Ubud, do Ubud. If you are near Canggu or Seminyak, keep it coastal. Save Uluwatu, Sidemen, or North Bali for a separate day.
