Emirates economy was good, but Dubai layover felt longer than expected

I finally tried Emirates economy and the flight itself was solid: decent seat, good entertainment, nice crew.

But my Dubai layover was at that awkward time where everything felt half-open and I couldn’t really rest. I’d fly Emirates again, but I’d pay attention to layover timing more than just total travel time.
