Drove the Amalfi Coast and nobody warned me about the road situation

Beautiful, genuinely one of the most beautiful things I've seen. also terrifying. one lane in most places, two buses cannot pass without one reversing. hire small (Fiat 500 max). 40 minutes to cover 10km in afternoon traffic. what helped: leaving at 7am, going eastbound, parking in Amalfi and taking the ferry to Positano. Ravello is underrated. Positano is stunning and mobbed. food is best when you walk uphill away from the waterfront, views are worse, prices drop immediately.
