AirAsia is fine, but the add-ons can sneak up on you

I’ve flown AirAsia a few times around Southeast Asia and honestly the flights were okay for the price.

The thing to watch is add-ons: baggage, meals, seats, payment fees, and sometimes airport transfers. It’s still useful for short routes, but I now build the full basket before comparing with other airlines.
