Agoda vs Booking.com for Asia Hotels

Do you usually find better deals on Agoda or Booking.com?

I normally compare both, then check the hotel’s own website before booking. Agoda sometimes seems cheaper, especially in Southeast Asia, but Booking.com often feels clearer for cancellation rules, room types, and extra fees.

Curious how other people decide. Do you usually just go with the lowest price, or do you pay a little more when the booking terms are easier to understand?
